A tool from Google that lets users make custom reports with your Facebook ads data from Google’s marketing services (such as web app “Adynamite”) and external sources.

Looker Studio is Google’s reporting solution for power users who want to go beyond the data and dashboards of Google Analytics. The data widgets in Looker Studio are notable for their variety, customization options, live data and interactive controls 

(such as column sorting and table pagination). 

Data sources include database connectors, file upload, “community” connectors, Google products, etc.

Getting Started

Creating and authorizing Adynamite connectors in Looker Studio.

This guide will show you the first steps to using Adynamite for Looker Studio – creating and authorizing a connector. This will create what is called a data source file from your chosen ad account with all Facebook ads data, that can be added to your Looker Studio reports.

This guide will show you how to authenticate Ads Insigths Facebook data import by Adynamite.

Steps:

1. At first, you have to be login in Facebook and to login/register into our application, so here the link to our webservice. It`s necessary for normal work flow process!

2. Go to https://app.adynamite.com/tools/facebook-costs-data-studio-import and log in with your Google account, if needed.

3. Click on button CREATE CONNECTOR (at bottom of the page).

4. In new tab, that will open after 2-nd step, click on the AUTHORISE button to give permission to the connector to access your Google account.

4.1 A pop-up will ask you to log in with your Google account – select the same account you use Looker Studio with and click on Allow to accept the access request.

NOTE! You or your employee have to use that Google account, which is used in app.adynamite.com with permitted access to Adynamite service (e.g. see 1-st step)

5. Follow the prompts to log in to the data source with the appropriate user account with access to the ad accounts you need for the report.

6. Once the data source login is completed, return to the data source setup page. Depending on your selected data source, select the facebook ad accounts you want to use by choosing from list in field “Select Facebook Ad Account”.

7. You can also update the name of the data source file to something informative, for example based on the selected account(s). connector

8. In the top right corner, click on CONNECT to save the configuration as a new data source file.

9. You will be taken to the field list, where you can see all available dimensions/metrics of your data source file. By default, you don’t need to do anything here. Your data source file has now been created!

You can directly start using the data source in a new report by clicking on CREATE REPORT in the top right corner of the field list. Also you can now select it as a data source in your existing reports.

9.1. Depending on your selected data source, select the facebook ad accounts you want to use by choosing from list in field “Select Facebook Ad Account”.

10. Finally, your report is ready!
